Land Utilization
Land Utilization The land resources are used for the following purposes : 1. Forest 2. Land not available for cultivation (a) Barren and waste lands (b) Land used for non agricultural activities such as building roads, factories. 3. Uncultivated land : (a) Permanent pasture & grazing land (b) Land under the crop groves. (c) Cultivable waste land 4. Fallow land which is left uncultivated for one to five years. 5. Net sown area : Area sown more than once in an agricultural year plus net sown area is known as gross cropped area.
