Manufacturing According to their Role in Industries
According to their Role 1. Cottage Industry : Industries which artisans setup in their own houses, work with wood, cane, brass, stone are called cottage industries. e.g. Handloom, Khadi and Leather. 2. Consumer Industry : Consumer industries convert raw material or primary products into commodities which are directly used by the people. e.g. cotton textile, sugar industry, vegetable oil etc.
